“ Came here during the week for the $20 lunch special which includes hot pot and the BBQ. Service was excellent and food was fresh! Great deal during the week! ”
“ Food is great, really fun spot and our server Deo is the best! Such a great guy, fast service and told us all the best things to try! ”
“ Our waitress was amazing! The food is always super fresh and this is my fave local hot pot..I can't always get out to QUEENS. Super friendly and attentive..why order multiple drinks when ya can have one huge cocktail each w a151 flamed volcano! It's that time of year to be SOUPY! ”
“ This place is really quality and one of those 4.5s that has the disbenefit of yelp not allowing half stars. The price is very reasonable, the selection is fantastic, the service is good and the ambiance is fun. No real complaints. Make sure to come hungry and don't over order because the portions are too big considering how many plates you're allowed per order. Very easy to end up with like eight large plates uneaten when you're full and then you end up having to find room and shove some of the remaining food down your throat. Fun experience. ”
“ Still absolutely love this place and would highly recommend but was soooo upset to find out they got rid of my favorite thing, the pickled radishes. It was such a simple item but was my favorite part. Our server even remembered we loved them and double checked to make sure they were definitely unavailable. No ice cream today either, not sure if they got rid of that for good or just temporary. ”
“ First off, what a Great place to "MEAT UP" with friends That is pretty much the main theme of the restaurant. You and perhaps 7 other guests order different grilling meats that are wheeled out to you on a table. Nicely organized in small bowls, and those bowls can mean just about anything on their menu. Then you the patron(s) at the table Grill up the different meats that you ordered picking off cooked pieces dipping them into their signature 3 different dipping sauces. Ponzu sauce, Sweet soy sauce, and a Spicy chili paste. Note: I actually did not indulge in any of their delicious exotic drink specials. I gave JBBQ HOT POT & BBQ 4 starts because for me the food was just ok. One has to be into fried (grilled) meats in the first place. I come from a Thailand Food palet background and next to this food and their 3 dipping sauces it was just bland, not full of the taste that I am used to. The boiled pot of whatever you can throw in there equally didn't have any taste, so I may recommend bringing your own condiments from home including fish sauce and white vinegar that I like to bring, to name a few. It may help with the experience. As for the Deserts, it was just a small cup of vanilla or raspberry ice cream. I didn't see the so called 5 flavors in the front freezer while I was there. *Bathroom: one toilet in both the mens room and ladies room. So there may be a line. *Tables: can accommodate up to 8 people at a time as a group or 4 per table if needed. It was only my wife and I. Judging from bill for just 2 people and no alcoholic drinks we spent $87.96 for everything. Imagine that times 4 or 8 people? You do the math. *Parking: is in the rear of the restaurant so enter from Third Avenue. Check the signs it is metered. I would have to say that although the taste of the food was bland for me, the ambience and setting for most might just be what the doctor ordered. :) The Review Guru* Long Island NY ”
“ Here's the Scoop! My family and I came here to celebrate my grandsons birthday. We had so much fun. If you've never been here before let me tell you it's a blast! Upon getting your menu you choose hot pot or regular menu and then the fun begins. They light up the stove at your table and the food comes in and the grilling begins. You must and I say must pace yourself when ordering. The food comes so fast and between grilling and eating it is a dance you try to keep up with that's hilarious. It's so much fun and a great time to be had. Definitely check this place out. Service is wonderful. ”
“ This was our first time here and it was GREAT. This all-you-can-eat spot is a fun night out with friends or the family as you get to pick what you want and then grill it on the table grill. We really enjoyed this aspect of getting to cook our own chicken, steak, pork belly, shrimp, veggies, you name it! Our server was excellent, describing everything to us since we were new and providing recommendations as well. They were also very attentive since we are cooking our own food, they were always nearby checking on us and making sure we didn't need any assistance. It's a great experience to try and the food was all really good so definitely a must try! ”
“ This is a hotpot and BBQ restaurant, you can have hotpot only or BBQ only or have both, but everyone at table must ordered the same hotpot or BBQ or both. We ordered both, you chose a soup base. They have soup base that have half of two different soup base which is an extra cost. They have a large selection of meats seafood, vegetables for hotpot and BBQ, and some cooked foods. They have some sauce that they bring to table which is used for dipping for meats. I found there meats are not as good quality, there vegetables were fresh. The server tells us to ordered five plates for each person to start off, and if need more you can order. There is a 90 minute seating, so at the one hour we were told last time to order it seem like we were being rush to eat. The service was very good. ”
